Brighton offers Friday Night Dinner Club and Friday Night Socials which are open to both Brighton students and the public. These events are suitable for adolescents 13+ and young adults who require some support or facilitation of social skills and friendships, may need to practice social pragmatics, communication, and group skills. Each event will indicate the support level provided (ie 3:1). If a participant requires an additional level of support, we can provide that – please call us to arrange!

Social group activities vary and range from ‘hanging out’ on a Friday night watching movies, playing video games with buddies, listening to music and dancing. Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a Launch or Brighton student to attend.

If you have a question, or would like more information, please email us at contactus@brightonlaunch.ca or call 416-932-8273 ext. 200.

Friday Dinner Club: 3:30pm - 6:30pm

At our Friday Dinner Club, participants assist in preparing a meal to be shared with friends, and spend some social time catching up on the day’s events. It starts at 3:30 (directly after Brighton School lets out) and runs till 6:30 (when FNS begins).

Students from Brighton Launch will be transported  to Brighton School by Launch staff at approximately 4:30 PM.

It’s part dinner, part social, and a whole bunch of fun!

Friday Night Social: 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Our Friday Night Socials provide opportunities for our participants to have a night out with friends within a welcoming atmosphere and where they can meet new people. These events are designed for adolescents and young adults who require some support or facilitation of social situations. Participants have the opportunity to get to know others in relaxed settings that promote conversation and social interaction. Social Nights provide an opportunity for members to practice social pragmatics, communication, group skills and community awareness learned in our PEERS programs.
